Corporate clothing printing or corporate clothing embroidery?

Corporate clothing printing or corporate clothing embroidery?

Company clothing printing or embroidery, that is a question we often get. When you purchase new clothing sets you are faced with the choice of having the corporate clothing printed or having the logo embroidered on your corporate clothing. Both options have their advantages and disadvantages. To help you make this choice, we will give you more information on printing and embroidering corporate clothing.

Company clothing printing, these are the advantages and disadvantages

Getting corporate clothing printed is the inexpensive option that can be done quickly. So much for the advantages. The disadvantages of corporate clothing printing are that:

The colors on this duration fade

Cracks appear in the image

Parts of the image become loose

Streaks can appear on the fabric from the image during ironing

In short: after some time, the image becomes less beautiful.

Is that why you can never get your corporate clothing printed? You would expect us to say: get all your corporate clothing embroidered. However, to print corporate clothing we use optimal materials and techniques. The logo or printed text will remain neat and tidy for quite some time. The only exception to this is polo shirts in larger quantities. In combination with the price, we give you the option of printing polo shirts that are used for company clothing. This is because polo shirts do not last as long as other work clothing. As a result, the demands on the durability of the logo are somewhat lower.

Company clothing embroidery, these are the advantages and disadvantages

Embroidering corporate clothing costs more than printing corporate clothing. The embroidered text or logo may pull after a few washes. The embroidery should then be ironed.
The advantages of embroidering corporate clothing are:

It sits firmly on the clothing

It looks neat

The colors stay nice

In short: the image remains beautiful. That is why we always embroider corporate clothing. With the exception of polo shirts, these are sometimes printed and often embroidered.

The added value of a printed or embroidered logo and/or text on corporate clothing

With a printed or embroidered logo, a company name and/or a text, you can personalize your corporate clothing. It is a nice detail on your clothing. However, we are not necessarily saying that logos should be applied to corporate clothing. In order to save on costs, starting entrepreneurs sometimes choose not to have a logo applied to the first set. Whether or not to choose a logo is one of the steps in the Unique Zoetelief SKS Advice Method.

What is the added value of a printed or embroidered logo on your corporate clothing?

By having your logo and/or company name printed or embroidered on the corporate clothing, you complete the overall look of your store. There is no mistaking that you are ready to help the customer. You have chosen the name for your business with care. It reflects what you stand for and what you have to offer. Your name is displayed on the front of your building. The logo is designed to convey a certain message. To reflect what kind of business you have. Your company and your logo are inextricably linked to your business. They are part of your identity.

"Customers still see that I work here"

We sometimes hear people say, "I'm in the store anyway and I'm wearing company clothes, so I don't need a logo to make it clear that I work here, do I?" That's absolutely right, but when a fellow shopper, for example the butcher comes to buy a piece of cheese from you, he will be wearing his company clothes. If the clothing is roughly the same color scheme, it can be confusing to the customer. When a logo or company name is embroidered on the clothing, it is immediately clear who belongs and who does not belong to the cheese store. On the other hand, it is good for your brand awareness if your logo can be seen when you or your employees run an errand at other retailers.

Can any other text be printed or embroidered on the corporate clothing?

If you use a set payoff in your advertising message, it can be valuable to have this text embroidered or printed on your corporate clothing. You can place this text from top to bottom on your slipper, or on the back of the blouse or jacket. In doing so, you use the power of repetition. When people see the text, your company is brought to their attention again, making (online) advertising more noticeable.
Do consider in advance whether it makes sense to invest in those extra embroideries. For example, if you mainly serve your customers from behind a counter, then the text on a slipper will not be (fully) visible. Then the investment is probably not profitable. The same goes for a text on the back. If you regularly stand with your back to your customers, then such a text may be a good idea.

What text is placed where?

Of course, it is the choice of the business owner who decides where a logo or text will be placed on the clothing. Below are the most common places:

Logo or company name at chest level, right or left.

Logo or company name at the top of the sleeve

Pay-off on the sleeve

Company name or pay-off on the sleeve

Pay-off on the back

What is the Impact of a Good Visual Mark?

A good logo creates recognition. This allows people to see that social media messages have to do with your company and where they should go for the offers in the ad. A good logo reflects what your company stands for and what you have to offer. For example, a logo for a store selling children's toys has a completely different look and feel than a logo for a fish store. In addition, the look and feel of a price-cutter is different from that of a caterer. A good logo is a feeling and this feeling must fit the company.

Company clothing printing or embroidery, the choice is yours

Use our experience to determine whether you want to have your corporate clothing embroidered or printed. And whether you want to include your company name and additional text. Contact us for more information.
